Europe’s largest vendor of cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) systems has released a Web-based mobile application that works on iPhones, Android-, Blackberry- and Windows-powered phones as well as Internet-enabled tablets.

Really Simple Mobile CRM provides users with real-time access to their companies’ customer, prospect and sales pipeline data. Users can retrieve and update information on accounts, contacts, tasks, activities and opportunities. Google Maps is integrated into the application to provide location-based services such as giving directions.

“By building the application in HTML5 we have avoided the synchronisation, installation and maintenance issues associated with downloadable apps,” says John Paterson, CEO of Really Simple Systems. “Running the mobile CRM application over the web makes sure that all updates are in real time and stays true to the ‘no local software’ cloud philosophy.”

The mobile CRM application is free to Really Simple mobile enterprise edition customers, with an $8 monthly per user cost to premium edition customers.

Really Simple Systems Cloud CRM and Web-based CRM is aimed at small and medium sized businesses with between two and two-hundred people who want a straightforward hosted CRM sales, marketing and support system. The hosted model is particularly suitable for companies with multiple locations and sales people who work remotely or at home.
