This is the end of paying technical staff to perform expensive and time-consuming updates. You have complete control of your web content and can add/edit/delete product information, build a new site section, alter your branding or launch a new marketing initiative in minutes - and you can do this from anywhere in the world and from any web browser!
Logging In
Installing WebEdit is easy. Once you receive your zip file (immediate download when you order), you simply unzip it and upload the files to your web server. After this, you can setup your users and advanced settings. Once successfully installed, you can access WebEdit and login.
Your Web Files
Once you have successfully logged in, you can now view your website files and folders in the 'File Manager'. From here you can manipulate your files in a number of ways. Create new files, rename them, delete and more. You can also upload your own files from your local hard disk. You can also create new folders, rename them and more.
Creating Files
Creating new files is EASY with WebEdit. In your file manager, click the Create New File button. You will then be able to select a template to base your new file on, and give that new file a name. Template snapshots are automatically shown and you can preview each template before creating your new web page!
Editing Files
Editing your web page is as simple as using Microsoft Word. Everything you need is in your toolbar and you can now begin to edit your web pages in complete WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) style!
WYSIWYG Editing
Complete page editing in your web content management system. Apply complete text formatting to your content, using the powerful online html WYSIWYG editor, including font type, font fize, font formatting, styles, font colors, highlight colors, bulletpoints, and much more. All this from your browser!
Inserting Images
Select the 'Image' Icon on the toolbar to pop open the Image Manager. From here you will be able to manipulate your images and insert them into your web page. You can also modify image properties by selecting an image in your webpage and selecting the 'Image' Icon.
Table Support
WebEdit has complete table support. This can be accomplished by either the 'table' icon in the toolbar, or using the 'right click' context menu inside the editor. The 'right click' menu can also be used to create or modify links (when text or image is selected) and modify image properties (when image is selected).
Stylesheet Support
Any web page that contains a stylesheet will be available for use in the 'styles' drop down menu. You can then select text, images and other objects and apply styles. The editor will automatically show the object or text with the applied style and update the 'styles' menu to reflect the currently selected style!
Link Manager
Creating hyperlinks to other web pages couldn't be any easier. It requires no typing. Links can be created simply using the Link Manager, by selecting the file that you wish to link to!
Rebranding
Web developers looking to offer a powerful browser-based web content management system can easily rebrand WebEdit with their corporate colours and logo's by simply modifying a pageheader.html, pagefooter.html and a stylestylesheet.
Restricted Editing
Web developers concerned that clients may edit sections of the website that they shouldn't can rest assured. Restricted editing allows developers to define sections of web pages that are allowed to be edited. Everything else is off limits! The region below with the blue border is the section users are allowed to edit. Nothing else.

If at any time you need help using WebEdit, simply click the 'help' icon in the top right hand corner, and a help window will be available with information regarding every feature in WebEdit.
